How do we use an assemblage of objects to convey a constructed sense of self?

Exploring how material possessions reflect our identity, this research explores consumerism, anthropological and psychological analysis. Drawing upon theories for individual’s need to portray an idealised self, the focus is on how the interpretation of semiotics and symbols reflect an individual’s perception of themselves which therefore informs the viewer’s interpretation.
